> What Software Shortlist says about Zoho CRM:

With a strong emphasis on ‘selling’ tools, ZOHO CRM integrates sales, marketing, customer support, inventory and workflow processes into one system.

Key strengths of Zoho CRM include:

  • Low cost
  • Flexible to customize
  • Powerful reporting

Part of the Zoho suite of 22+ online applications (including mail, web conferencing, invoicing and more), Zoho CRM has recently updated its user interface with personalized tabs and page customization, clearer graphics and process layouts.

Program Administration set up is clear and well defined. The Role and Group hierarchy is extensive and pre-configured to meet most any user application. API’s are available for Google Apps, Mail, Mobile editions. Document management is available in either the CRM platform or with even more flexibility and content via the add-on Zoho Docs.

Marketing campaigns are supported across all versions, including email templates, auto responders, hosted email server, and plug ins can expand your synchronize email with Outlook.

Sales forecasting, reports and analytics are robust in the Enterprise version. Custom reports are easy to configure. Multiple languages and currencies are supported together with a worldwide Reseller network.

Dedicated user/live support would add to the services, but this would probably drive up cost considering the low per user pricing. All support is email based which may be an issue for some users.

In terms of pricing, Zoho CRM is free for the first 3 users (limited edition). The Professional edition is $12 per user per month, and Enterprise edition is $25 per user per month.  There are also some add-ons that cost extra (e.g. merge/sync tools for Outlook) and some processing limitations e.g. mass email sends.
