In most cases, one of our consultants will contact you to discuss and clarify your software requirements on the phone. Once we have a good understanding of your needs, we will advise the most appropriate next steps to suit where you are on the journey. We can help you establish your evaluation and selection project right through to engaging the vendor.
We aim to deliver a shortlist of 4 to 5 relevant vendors – i.e. a good set of choices without being overwhelming. The exact number of vendors that we introduce will depend to some extent on who is interested in engaging with you. You can maximise your chances of a strong vendor response by providing (i) a clear summary of your requirements (ii) an honest appraisal of the steps you’ve been through to get to this stage, and (iii) a realistic budget expectation
The first step is for our consultant to speak with you on the phone for 10-15 minutes. Depending on the assistance you require from us, vendor discussions and the shortlisting process can take anything from a few days to a few weeks, depending on the specific software category and budget settings.
We work with all the major enterprise software providers and/or their partners. We are selective in only working with established vendors with local (A/NZ) partner and support networks. We specialise in representing your needs to those partners in a way that they can respond honestly and openly.
Our services are specialised around Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as those markets are more mature and requirements tend to be more complex. Other software categories are evolving rapidly but typically can be serviced through online marketplaces.
