> What Software Shortlist says about iSpring Online:

iSpring Online is a simple tool for housing and delivering training content.

Key strengths of iSpring Online include:

  • Easy to use
  • Easy to learn

iSpring Online allows for public and private viewing of content. This means that you don't have to have a user account to view content as long as you've been provided with the link. This feature makes iSpring a perfect tool for marketing as well which can be used to send product demonstration video links to potential clients across the world.

iSpring's GUI is simple, cut, and dry. This tool is super easy to figure out without any additional help or training. I thought maybe I had done something wrong since it was so simple to use. If you don't already own authoring tools, purchasing iSpring authoring tools is a good choice because they eliminate the uploading after publishing step required by 3rd party authoring tools. From within MS PowerPoint you can create flash videos and clips and publish/upload them to iSpring Online without navigating to the LMS and uploading in a separate step. It appears the iSpring authoring tools provide the same or similar functionality as other popular commercial products such as Adobe Captivate and Articulate Studio.

The weakness of this product lies in its scalability as it seems to be less scalable than its competitors. A maximum of only 500 private viewers are allowed. iSpring Online also misses on features such as enrollment management and manager approvals.

The Basic package is $199 per month for 100 private viewers and the Pro package which allows for 500 private viewers costs $399 per month.
