Key strengths of JoomlaLMS include:
- Easy to use
- Easy to learn
- Grows with your business
The user interface is clean and easy to use. About 4500 extensions, both commercial and free of cost, are available that can extend the system's functionality.
However, it is probably not the optimum tool for instructor-led, technology assisted courses.
You may also find that JoomlaLMS is more dependent on SCORM packages than other solutions. JoomlaLMS
offers a range of its own authoring tools (separately) to create SCORM packages
but you will have to purchase them (or other third-party authoring tools) at an additional price.
JoomlaLMS comes in two editions, Standard and Professional. The Standard edition starts at $299/year for less than 100 users and the Professional edition starts at $799/year for less than 100 users. Apart from differences in features, the pricing is also dependent upon other modules, components and support requirements.
