Campaigner has all the basics right. You can get your campaigns off to a flying start without too much difficulty.
What We Liked
The WYSIWIG editor was particularly easy to work with. You can take an existing template and quickly customize it as required. While we did not test their offer, we liked their free email template creation service. This saves you considerable amount of time in identifying a developer/designer who is competent to handle multipart (HTML & Text) designs. We also liked the ease with each you can set up complex segmentation filters based on both the demographic data as well as the user action on the campaign.
Gaps to Watch
The lack of a spell checker was an element we found surprising. While not a deal breaker in itself having a handy spell checker when in a hurry is a good idea rather than having to wade through the content. You need to specify the links you want to track in your email. This can get tricky when you have a set of links that changes during editing.
